Interview With Popstar.com
Tune-in to an all new episode of Wizards of Waverly Place this Sunday on the Disney Channel. The new episode is titled "Harper Knows" and one big juicy secret is revealed. While Harper and Alex are at PopCon, Alex reveals to, Harper, that she and her brothers are wizards-in training. We were lucky enough to chat with the beautiful and talented actress that has had roles in feature films and television shows over the past years. Wizards of Waverly Place star Jennifer Stone talked to PopStar.com about her hit show, her upcoming birthday and her newest job as an advice columnist.
PopStar.com: Do you have any funny stories while onset of Wizards of Waverly Place?
Jennifer Stone: There was this thing a couple of weeks ago where I was in footie pajamas. I got rather excited about the footie pajamas so I was goofing around the loft in front of the live audience. I decided to do this slide thing and in the loft they have wood floors so I was sliding and tripped over a raised board and went flying into the island. This was in front of the live audience and cast crew.
PopStar.com: How do you like working in front of a live audience?
Jennifer Stone: I love it, I started in theater and it very much takes me back to when I started acting. It is wonderful.
PopStar.com: Harper get to wear some outrageous costumes in Wizards of Waverly Place, do you have a favorite?
Jennifer Stone: There was one that I really really loved and was thought was absolutely perfect. It is from an upcoming episode called, “Justin’s New Girlfriend”. I am wearing this Charlie Chaplin shirt, my own bowler hat and a huge red skirt. It is very old Hollywood and it has been my favorite so far.
PopStar.com: If you could be a witch what would your superpower be?
Jennifer Stone: I would like to read minds because that would be very helpful.
PopStar.com: You seem to transition very well in between dramas and comedies; do you prefer one over the other?
Jennifer Stone: The process for me is the same but with comedy things are a little bit looser and with drama things are freighting at times but in the best possible. I don’t love one more than the other but there are different things I like about both.
PopStar.com: We hear that you will be writing an advice column?
Jennifer Stone: I am writing an advice column for Tiger Beat. They called me to see if I would answer questions that teenage girls would have. I was honored and so excited; I hope that I can give the best possible advice. It’s super exciting!
PopStar.com: We hear that your Sweet Sixteen is coming up in February. Do you have any big plans? Do you plan on getting your license and how about a car?
Jennifer Stone: I am working on my Sweet Sixteen party right know which will be an Old Hollywood theme. I will get my license on my birthday or sometime around that. And I want to get a red Prius. I am just so enamored with those cars they are so futuristic.
PopStar.com: Do you plan on seeing Twilight?
Jennifer Stone: Funny you ask that because I already have my tickets for today. I am going with a friend. I am super huge Twilight fan, I bought the first book on a whim and loved it and from there read the whole series. I am very excited to see it?
PopStar.com: Do you have a message to the fans:
Jennifer Stone: Thanks for all your support and for being awesome all around!
